BIOGRAPHY
Barbara Le Béguec Friedman (born 1982) is an artist based in Perpignan, France.
In 2005, she started exploring the dialogue between inner and outer landscapes through mediums such as drawing, video, sound, installation and photography.
From 2010 to 2017 she focuses her research on the confrontation with otherness and works in binomial, under the name RED BIND.
Her work on subjects such as: the social carcass, relationships, codes, gender, identity, status and the image of women have led her to question the idea of labelling and the permeability or impermeability of the boxes in which we try to evolve.
While continuing her reflections, she has been working 2017 on the idea of "the border as a meeting point". With the BAM project (2018-2020) - Art Place at Home - in the village of Ponteilla, in France near the Spanish border ; she participates in the organization of independent Art events about Action Art, Performance Art and Visual Arts.

Barbara Le Béguec Friedman (née en 1982) est une artiste basée à Perpignan, France.
En 2005, elle commence à explorer le dialogue entre les paysages intérieurs et extérieurs à travers des moyens tels que le dessin, la vidéo, le son, l'installation et la photographie.
De 2010 à 2017 elle oriente ses recherches sur la confrontation à l'altérité et travail en binome, sous le nom de RED BIND.
Son travail abordant des sujets tels que : les carcans sociaux, les relations, les codes, le genre, l'identité, le statut et l'image de la femme l'ont ammené à interroger l'idée d'étiquetage et la perméabilité ou l'imperméabilité des boîtes dans lesquelles nous essayons d'évoluer.
Tout en poursuivant ses réflexions, elle travaille depuis 2017 sur l'idée de "la frontière comme point de rencontre"... Avec le projet BAM (2018-2020) - Lieu d'Art chez l'habitant - dans le village de Ponteilla, en France à proximité de la frontière espagnole ; elle organise d'événements artistiques indépendants autour de l'Art Action, l'Art Performance et les Arts visuels.
